Quick Start Guide

STEP 1: KNOW OUR RULES

1. This game is 18+ only, as erotic games are eligible for decks just like any other games.

2. Players are to maintain a basic level of civility. This rule prohibits hate speech, bigotry, threats of violence, spamming, doxxing, trauma dumping, and any other harmful or disruptive behavior unspecified here.

3. Anti-ship discourse is prohibited. This refers to discourse speculating on the IRL morality of someone who likes a 'problematic' fictional relationship or character.

4. Players are required to always have these things in a publicly viewable space, in whatever format the player chooses:

• link back to GGtcg


• the player's name, level, and number of masteries


• the player's cards and other inventory


• an activity log


• a DW post where players can ask you for trades

5. Players must update at least once every three months to be considered active. After three months of inactivity, a player will be moved to the Inactive list. There is no penalty for falling inactive. A player may return at any time, and resume exactly where they left off! If you have fallen inactive and would like to be moved to the active list again, let us know here!

6. Players can update their own status if they will be on hiatus! Please go to your account settings and change your status to Hiatus or Active as needed.

7. Players and mods are to be truthful about cards obtained, handed out, traded, etc.

8. This is not a spoiler-free space. Spoilers may be present in deck names and deck images. However, in discussion spaces, players should hide spoilers for games less than 1 year old.

STEP 2: KNOW OUR CARDS

Our TCG is based on video games! All video games are eligible, including mobile games, visual novels, and browser games. Our decks are classified as one of these types:

• Base Decks - Each base deck is devoted to one character and contains 20 cards. In keeping with our video game theme, each character is assigned one of 10 classes, with their class emblem displayed on each of their cards.


• DLC Decks - DLC decks consist of different characters from the same canon.


• Patch Decks - Patch decks consist of different characters from different canons.


• Foil Decks - Some decks come with a Foil deck as well, a set of 5 super rare cards! Foil cards are designed to be difficult to obtain.


• Limited Decks - Limited decks are only released for a short time, and then retired. They are designed to only be available for their designated release timeframe.


• Seasonal Decks - These decks are available on a cyclical basis! They will go in and out of rotation throughout the year.

We also have special cards called Player Profiles Cards (PPC). Each PPC is unique to its corresponding player!

STEP 3: MAKE YOUR CARD POST AND ACTIVITY LOG

And have your card post link handy!

STEP 4: REGISTER!

You will register right here on the website and you will receive your starter pack automatically! If you forget to log your starter pack, you can also find it in the email you received upon registration.

STEP 5: Play!

First step in playing is to pick up your new player bonus pack! This is separate from your starter pack. Complete these tasks to get your bonus pack!

• log your starter pack in your activity log
  
• put your starter pack in your card post
  
• add your Dreamwidth name to your website profile
  
• that's it! Go here to claim your bonus pack when ready!
