Beginner Walkthrough

This walkthrough will aim to give you a solid idea of what an online TCG is, what our game is like specifically, and how to join in and begin playing and trading! If you have any questions, you can ask them here at our Player Services (even if you haven't joined yet!).

What is a virtual TCG?

TCG stands for 'trading card game' and the goal is to collect cards to complete your collections! In a physical TCG you would of course collect physical cards, but our game is virtual! This means that our cards are little images that you collect and display online.

Cards are obtained from a variety of activities, and will often be random, so trading with your fellow players for the cards you'd like is a core part of the game!

GG tcg

Our TCG is based on video games! Every card will feature a video game character, and all video games are eligible! This includes mobile games, browser games, visual novels, and erotic games!

Many of our features are accessed via the Dreamwidth Community, but our cards and member list are accessed here on the website. You can look through our cards here to see what we currently have. We are always adding more, and players have the ability to donate decks they would like to have in the game!

Most of our cards belong to a deck, and completing a deck gives you a fancy mastery card to display! Mastering decks is what allows you to level up!

Our Cards

Let's dive into our different types of cards! Don't worry, you don't need to have these memorized! This is just so you have a general idea of the kinds of cards you might encounter while playing!

BASE CARDS
Examples of Base cards:

Base cards come in decks of 20, and each deck is dedicated to one character. Every deck is classified under one of 10 character classes!

These are the most common type of card.

DLC CARDS
Examples of DLC cards:

DLC cards come in decks of a variety of sizes. Each DLC deck consists of multiple different characters all from the same canon!

PATCH CARDS
Examples of DLC cards:

Patch cards come in decks of a variety of sizes. Each Patch deck consists of multiple different characters from DIFFERENT canons!

FOIL CARDS
Examples of Foil cards:

Certain Base and DLC decks might have an associated Foil deck! Foils always come in a deck size of 5, and they have their own special deck mastery card! They are meant to be difficult to obtain and are quite rare!

SEASONAL CARDS
Examples of Seasonal cards:

Seasonal cards are released on a quarterly, cyclical basis! They are usually multifandom, multicharacter, and centered around a specific theme! They are only available during their release window, but can of course be traded at any time!

Now let's move on to how one plays a TCG!
